Hi, I’m Andre.
I am a User Experience Designer & Website Developer
I started working for myself back in 2016 developing sites for local businesses and not long after started Spotlight Engineering which is a website design company centered around helping businesses with sales-centric and user-facing design solutions, website development, and tailored assistance with online marketing. Over the years I’ve found the most common mistake the majority of sites share is that they are not designed with salesmanship in mind. One could think of a website as a 24/7 salesperson. Every part of a site structure should be built with the intention of providing results and this is something that many people overlook.
It is often the case that I’ll dive in thoroughly when problem-solving. Naturally, my understanding of the development ecosystem is proficient enough for knowing which technologies to use and when in a project. So whether it is myself working on your project or a team of on-call professionals under my supervision, you always get the best quality without any of the overhead costs.

Overview: This project is a clone of the Amazon site built using the Angular framework and Firebase backend.
Design: This project clone allows users to browse through products, add items to their cart, and checkout using a secure payment gateway. The application also includes user authentication.

Overview: This ‘trello like’ board was designed with a user-friendly interface that allows users to create and organize their tasks, as well as drag and drop them into different stages of the project.
